About me
Hi, I’m Jenn. I’m both team cat and team dog. A day snuggled up with a cat and a book is heaven, but I also love adventures outside with my pup.
I’ve drawn since I can remember holding a pencil. I went to art school back in the early 00’s, but didn’t start painting until 2022 when I found what will be a lifetime passion. Above, you’ll see my 12 year old red healer mix Evie and my late kitty Purcules (my best and most missed studio assistant)!
I’m a landscape and pet portrait artist based in Boulder, Colorado. It’s so fun for me to mix both of those loves into one painting and show your pet in their landscape, whether that be your dog outside on a hike, or your cut curled up in a sunspot.
How it works
1. Photos: You’ll send over photos of the pet you want painted. Photos that work best have good lighting and show your full pet (unless you specific want a close up).
2. Discussion: We’ll discuss what you want to make sure is included or excluded and what size you’re interested in.
3. Sign Agreement: Once you’re ready, I’ll send over a commission agreement. That way there are no surprises, and you’re holding me accountable too.
4. Payment: Half the payment will be collected up front via Venmo or PayPal. Once that’s collected, I can get started on your painting.
5. Delivery: Paintings take 2-4 weeks to complete. Once completed, the remaining payment will be processed and the painting will be delivered (either in person if available or shipped.) Note: I can only ship within the US at this time.
6. Hang your pet portrait, so you can smile each day when you see it!

Pricing
My pricing is transparent, so there’s no surprises; $4 per square inch. This price includes the final painting professionally mated to a standard US frame size. That makes it easy for you to find the perfect frame to match your decor. The final portrait can also be framed for an additional fee if you’d like.
