Hi. I’m Jenn, a painter based in Boulder, Colorado.

I started painting in 2022 and I’ve been addicted ever since I got my first taste of plein air painting right here in the foothills of Colorado.

I went to art school in the early 2000’s in New York. I studied all sorts of media including film photography, drawing, and ceramics. I’ve drawn off and on since, but it wasn’t until 2022 that I picked up a paint brush. I was determined to get back to reclaiming art for myself.

Moving to Colorado also made me fall in love with our natural world. It’s brought me a sense of adventure, connection, and strength. I’ve spend hours on adventures climbing, hiking, backpacking, even snow caving. But I also spend much needed quiet and slow time observing and really looking at a tree, or vista, or light in order to paint it. That time has made me realize it’s not a given we have these lands and it’s our duty to protect and care for them, that’s why I’m committed to donating 10% of all painting & print sales to science backed organizations that do just that. I paint in both gouache and oil, primarily outside on location. I want you to feel like you were there with me surrounded by nature, when you look at one of my paintings. Come along with me, enjoy the journey.
